MWS Charity Gala 2024 Brings in Over $700k

A blend of captivating entertainment, delightful music and a four-course gourmet dinner made up the MWS Charity Gala 2024.

Themed Colours of Love, the second edition of the charity dinner held on 22 March 2024 filled the John Jacob Ballroom at The St. Regis Singapore with nearly 300 guests.

In his speech, Eugene Toh, Chairperson of the MWS Board of Governance, urged donors to look beyond numbers to also consider the less visible impact of their giving, like improving beneficiaries’ quality of life and inner transformation.

An array of talents took the stage, including artistes like opera singer Leslie Tay, dynamic duo Jack & Rai, as well as seniors from MWS Active Ageing Centres. Wrapping up the event on a high note, Jack & Rai was joined by MWS CEO Calvin Ngo on bass to deliver a guitar rendition of Coldplay’s ‘Yellow’.

The event raised over $710,000 and proceeds will go towards MWS’ three Nursing Homes, including the upcoming facility in Eunos which will begin operations in 2025.

Thank you to all our donors and supporters for making our event a success. Your contributions enable us to continue bringing colour to the lives of our beneficiaries!
