MWS’ Staff Recognition Awards 2023 spotlighted over a hundred staff for their professionalism and dedication to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Held on 17 October at Sophia Blackmore Hall at the Methodist Centre, the ceremony celebrated the milestone anniversaries of 59 staff, some of whom have served 25 years. Additionally, staff who consistently embodied MWS’ core values were honoured with the Values-in-Action Award, based on nominations by colleagues and superiors.
Addressing all award winners, MWS Board of Governance Chairperson Eugene Toh and MWS CEO Calvin Ngo, respectively encouraged everyone to continue their remarkable work while remembering their personal motivations.
Adding fanfare to the event were food and game booths on-site. Adaptive bowling, thoughtfully modified by MWS’ Allied Health team to encourage seniors to stay active, was a standout experience among the staff.
All in all, the event celebrated the good work and dedication of MWS staff while fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie. Despite having grown to a staff count of over 600, the MWS family remains united by one common purpose – to empower people towards abundant living. A big thank you to all our staff for being the critical pillars of our organisation!
