MWS ACTIVE AGEING CENTRES
MWS’ seven Active Ageing Centres are part of the network of Active Ageing Centres across Singapore overseen by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). Our Active Ageing Centres serve as first stops in the community for seniors, aged 60 years and above, supporting their ability to age at home and in their neighbourhood, and empowering them to live fuller, active lives.Impact at a Glance

OUR APPROACH
Our Active Ageing Centres adopt an Asset-Based Community Development framework, meaning we identify and mobilise assets within the community — such as schools, churches, grassroots organisations, corporate and individual volunteers — to help engage and care for the seniors.
We believe our seniors also have skills, strengths and abilities to step up to lead and run activities, thereby helping other seniors to adopt active ageing lifestyles.
The work that we do

How to get help
Family Service Centres serve residents within their service boundaries. MWS’ Family Service Centres can be found in Hougang and Buangkok, Tampines and Yishun. If you or someone you know need help on personal or family-related issues, just call, walk in, write or email your queries to your nearest FSC.
A social work practitioner will follow up with a call, arrange a face-to-face session, or do a home visit to find out more about your family situation. They will then develop a plan that best meets your needs.
